"Nuno Coelho was born in Brussels, in 1976.
He currently lives and works in Porto.
He is currently undertaking an MA in Design and Graphic Production at the University of Barcelona, following his degree course in Communication Design and Graphic Art at the University of Porto.
As a freelance Designer, he often works in collaboration with other creatives, exploring the diverse aspects of Communication Design.
He has worked for individuals and organizations in Portugal, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Palestine and Norway.
He has curated and contributed work for several exhibitions in Portugal,Germany, Italy and Austria. His work has been selected five times for thePortuguese Young Creators exhibition and represented Portugal in the XIIYoung Artists Biennal of Europe and the Meditterranean 2005 in Napoli.
He is also an active DJ, prioritizing performances associated with artistic projects and cultural institutions. He also promotes and co-ordinates "Compact Discothèque", in Porto. A monthly event, "Compact Discothèque" was part of the program of Experimenta Design, Lisbon Biennal 2005."
